We process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing generally takes place only with the user's consent or where a legal basis permits it.

Where we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing to fulfill a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the basis. Where processing is based on a legal obligation, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR serves as the basis. For processing to protect legitimate interests, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR serves as the basis.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources.

As part of the application for membership, we process the data you enter in the application form (name, email, phone, city, country, desired tier, referral, interests) for the purpose of reviewing and processing your application. For inquiries from potential partner companies, we process information about the company, contact person, contact details, partner type, and message for the purpose of contact and review.

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

We take modern technical and organizational measures (TOM) to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. All data transmission between your browser and our server is encrypted using the HTTPS protocol (SSL/TLS).

Your personal data is only shared with third parties insofar as this is necessary for contract fulfillment or the implementation of pre-contractual measures, or where we are legally obliged to do so. Recipients may include:

For the registration to our newsletter, we process your email address on the basis of your express consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). Registration takes place using a double opt-in procedure; you will receive a confirmation email with a verification link to ensure that only you can register.
